Richard Donner (The Omen-Superman) directs this Live Action Serial Adventure show. One of Jan Michael Vincents first performances. This Cliffhanger of a show, in my opinion, had one of the best theme songs ever!!! Thirty-six episodes were broadcast each week on the Banana Splits show.

While a San Diego personal injury lawyer may not approve of the name "Danger Island" the show was exciting for kids to watch. Cliffhanger endings will definitely get viewers coming back for more. With modern-day pirates and cannibalistic native tribes, there was always an element of danger, albeit with comedic undertones.
